London Hott Radio Artist Spotlight
He Mixed Hip-Hop, Dancehall & Afrobeat Together… What Happened Next Is Turning Heads Across The UK
The global rise of independent music continues, and one artist making serious waves is Los Angeles-based genre-blending artist Lincoln Roy. Combining Hip-Hop, Dancehall, Afrobeat, Reggae and contemporary urban sounds, Lincoln Roy has carved out a lane that is entirely his own.
With Belizean and Jamaican roots deeply embedded in his musical DNA, Lincoln Roy’s journey began long before his first release. At just 12 years old, he learned to play drums and keyboards, laying the foundation for the producer and songwriter he would later become. By age 19, he was creating his own music, developing a sound that would eventually resonate with audiences across continents.

Building The Concrete Jungle
Lincoln Roy’s recording journey began with the release of the “Leap of Faith” EP in 2017 under the Concrete Jungle banner. What followed was a relentless run of releases showcasing growth, maturity and artistic evolution.
2018 brought Concrete Jungle Vol. 2, followed by “The Trials” EP in 2019. Then came one of his most impactful projects, 2020’s “So Dem Say,” a conscious and thought-provoking record that highlighted his ability to blend meaningful storytelling with powerful production.
Never one to stay confined within a single genre, Lincoln Roy continued to push boundaries. In 2021, he released “Two Seats,” a crossover Hip-Hop record that hinted at the sonic experimentation still to come.
By 2022, “Coastin'” marked the beginning of a bold new chapter, introducing fans to the genre-bending sound that has become his trademark. The following year saw the release of “2 Shots,” a seamless fusion of Hip-Hop and Afrobeat that further expanded his growing audience.

Creating His Own Lane
Lincoln Roy’s willingness to experiment has become one of his greatest strengths.
In December 2024, he released “Inna Ya Yard,” a vibrant Hip-Hop and Dancehall crossover that connected strongly with listeners who appreciate authentic Caribbean influences mixed with modern urban production.
The momentum continued into late 2025 with the release of “Estates,” followed by his latest single, “Rudeboy,” and the highly anticipated “4rm Tha Concrete Jungle” EP released on December 19th, 2025.
Each release demonstrates an artist refusing to be boxed into one category, instead embracing a global sound that reflects both his heritage and contemporary music culture.
Making International Moves
Lincoln Roy’s hard work is now translating into international opportunities.
On April 11th, 2026, he took another significant step in his career by performing as an opening act in London, introducing UK audiences to his unique blend of sounds and energetic stage presence.
Now the momentum continues.
This summer, Lincoln Roy returns to the United Kingdom for a series of live performances, including an appearance at the legendary Amersham Arms in South London, a venue renowned for showcasing emerging talent and groundbreaking artists. The venue has become one of London’s respected grassroots live music spaces, helping launch and support independent artists from across the UK and beyond. (londondine.co.uk)
